Prayer Shield uses Android AccessibilityService to detect when you open apps selected for monitoring. This allows Prayer Shield to show your daily prayer pause or Watchful Check-In based on your settings.

Prayer Shield uses AccessibilityService only for these features:

- Detecting when a selected app is opened
- Showing an intentional pause before that app continues
- Triggering Watchful Check-Ins during app use
- Redirecting attention toward prayer, scripture, and mindfulness

Prayer Shield does not use AccessibilityService to read private messages, capture passwords, collect typed text, access financial information, or monitor unrelated activity outside the features you enable.

You control which apps are monitored and whether AccessibilityService is enabled.
