pinpointsurf is a hyperlocal surf forecast from Folly Beach, SC to
Brigantine Beach, NJ, plus Puerto Rico — built on a high-resolution
nearshore wave model that accounts for the actual bathymetry of the
coastline: the sandbars, inlets, and contours that decide how a swell
actually breaks where you surf.
Most forecasts give you offshore buoy data or a coarse regional model
and leave you to guess what it means for your spot. pinpointsurf does
the interpretation: it turns spectral wave output into a straight
answer — expected surf height and a clean / fair / poor quality read
for a specific break, not a whole region.
