Where It All Started ?
Every meaningful product begins with a real problem. For us, it started with Rohit and Komal. Childhood friends turned professionals, their careers took them to different cities. When Komal moved to Bangalore, she began in a PG. At first it seemed fine, but soon reality set in: limited privacy, rising costs, no sense of home, constant compromises. Moving to a flat made sense, but moving alone didn’t. Friends were scattered, budgets mismatched, locations misaligned. Even when a place was available, finding the right roommate felt harder than finding the job itself. One question sparked SabSort: “Why is it so hard to find the right roommate when so many people face the same problem?”

Plenty of apps help you find brokers, property owners, societies, or flats. None solve the roommate problem. The real questions start after you find a room: What if my roommate leaves?
