About this game

Pirate Map Trader is an offline strategy game where you inspect, buy, sell, combine, and decode treasure maps while sailing between pirate ports.
At each market, read the seller information and visible chart details, then spend inspection focus to reveal an extra authenticity clue. Choose whether to buy the chart or pass. Maps kept in your chart locker can be sold for a safer return, decoded by selecting the bearing supported by the written clue, or combined when two fragments point to the same island.
Your objective is to reach each voyage’s doubloon target before the market closes while protecting your ship’s hull. Genuine maps can lead to valuable caches, but forged charts and incorrect bearings cause losses, mistakes, and hull damage. A voyage succeeds only when the target is reached and the ship remains afloat.
Ten voyages introduce higher targets, more convincing forgeries, tighter decisions, and larger rewards. Successful voyages award up to three stars and upgrade tokens, unlock the next port, and add discovered caches to your collection. Shipyard upgrades improve inspection focus, hull strength, and trading rewards.

• Decode map riddles by choosing North, East, South, or West.
• Combine matching island fragments for a higher-risk, higher-reward expedition.
• Sell charts when a safe return is better than gambling on a route.
• Protect the ship’s hull and meet each voyage’s coin objective.
• Earn stars, upgrade the compass, hull, and cargo hold, and grow a treasure collection.
• Continue progress locally, play offline, and start without creating an account.
