Pirith Potha brings the Pirith chanting tradition to your phone, in a form
made for everyday listening.

Open the app and play. Let the chanting continue while you cook, travel,
work or fall asleep — the audio keeps going when you leave the app or lock
your screen, with full controls on your lock screen, in your notification
shade, and through Bluetooth headphones or your car stereo.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Listen to Pirith chants, from short suttas to the full Maha Piritha
• Keep listening with the screen off or the app closed
• Control playback from the lock screen, notifications, or Bluetooth
• Download chants and play them with no connection at all
• Build your own playlists and play them straight through or shuffled
• Repeat a single chant, or loop a whole playlist
• Set a sleep timer so the chanting stops on its own
• Save favourites and return to what you played recently
• Browse by category, or search by name
• Watch companion videos for chants that have one, right from the app

SINHALA AND ENGLISH TOGETHER

Every screen shows both languages. Chant names appear in Sinhala with the
English name beneath, so the app suits Sinhala speakers and anyone learning.
Choose which language leads from Settings, and the app remembers.

MADE FOR LISTENING, NOT FOR SCROLLING

One tap plays a chant. The player is calm and uncluttered: large artwork, a
clear progress bar, and controls where your thumb already is. Nothing gets in
the way of the chanting.

WORKS OFFLINE

Downloaded chants live on your device. Once a chant is saved you can play it
on a flight, in a signal-free area, or without using mobile data again.

PRIVACY

No account. No sign-up. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
Your playlists, favourites, history and downloads stay on your device and are
never uploaded.
