About this app

With obALu, you can easily book, unlock, and return vehicles and stations via the app – no keys, no slips of paper, no queues.

obALu is the booking and access app for bike sharing, e-bike garages, scooter fleets, lockers, and other sharing services. Simply register, select a nearby vehicle or station, book it, and unlock it with the app.

Whether bicycle, e-bike, cargo bike, scooter, electric car, or locker – obALu works with all vehicle and station types provided by businesses and municipalities via obALu. Fleet management is completely digital.

📱 Easy booking & keyless unlocking
No physical key required. Vehicles and stations are unlocked directly via the app – using Bluetooth, QR code, or RFID. Bike sharing has never been this fast.

🗓️ Flexible real-time booking
Book spontaneously or plan ahead. Availability is displayed in real time. Returning is just as easy: open the app, return the bike, and you're done. The booking system handles billing automatically.

obALu is used by businesses, cities, municipalities, residential areas, and startups. Employees use the app for company bikes and shared vehicles. Residents unlock their bike garages or book cargo bikes. Visitors spontaneously rent a scooter.

🔒 Keyless access systems
Smart locks, RFID, QR codes, and Bluetooth enable convenient access – without any physical keys. The technology comes from pironex, a German electronics and software company based in Rostock.
