About this app

Testament is a secure document vault with a built-in "dead man's switch." It encrypts your most sensitive documents — wills, insurance policies, property deeds, bank details — on your device and stores them in your own Google Drive. Nobody else, not even us, can read them.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOCK
The encryption key is derived from the identity information of both you and your chosen recipient (ID number + date of birth, plus an optional secret phrase). Your recipient can only unlock a document once they physically hold your ID card — which, in practice, happens only after you're gone. No server decides when your documents are released. No timers. You stay in control.

• Argon2id key derivation (memory-hard, brute-force resistant)
• All encryption happens on your device — keys are never stored or transmitted
• Optional secret phrase adds a third factor for high-value documents
