I almost love this game. It's generally fun and has heroes with unique specials that do allow for some cool teams. It doesn't feel impossible to get anything and everything in the game seems doable FTP. Just one problem makes this game unplayable for me, the fact that the "skip battles" button is VIP only. It takes me probably 45 minutes of mindlessly sitting there pushing the play button to actually get loot. The grinding in this game is not even playing and you can't be "idle" while you do it.

EDIT: 5* To 1*. update absolutely ruined game. no massively intrusive ads, ads only come by for me when I request a reward. Fun gameplay, great game for me to play on work breaks. Helpful community, I actually downloaded discord for the first time to get some help, and have progressed greatly because of it. I'm having a great time upgrading heroes and items. I haven't hit an area where I need to pay to progress, haven't spent a cent. Definitely worth checking out if this is your sort of thing.

not a fan of many of the update changes. more clicks to move through menus, many things are far less intuitive. I spend more time settings things up now than I would spend playing before. the item selection is horrible. I need to scroll to find different item types instead of just clicking an obvious icon. the item icons went from looking classic simple 8bit to messy overdetailed. menus are high dpi modern, but for an 8bit style game. it's just odd.
