The temple on the hill has stood dark for a hundred winters. You run to wake it.
PixelHop is a hand-tuned pixel-art endless runner. A bronze athlete sprints across the broken rooftops of a ruined Greek temple while the world scrolls past — you hop the marble gaps, vault the toppled column drums, and slide under the architraves that came down in the quake. Every tier you finish relights another stretch of the hill.
TWO CONTROLS, SIXTY TIERS
Tap to hop. Tap again in the air for a shorter second hop. Swipe down to slide. That is the whole control scheme — everything else is timing. Sixty tiers climb the hill through five districts, each one a little faster than the last, each one introducing exactly one new thing to read: the toppled drum, the bronze brazier still burning after a century, the fallen architrave with a hand-span of air beneath it, and the cracked stepping stone stranded between two holes in the roof.
BUILT TO BE FAIR
No gap is wider than a single hop can carry at that tier's speed. No obstacle is placed inside the arc you are already flying when you land. Every course is generated from a fixed seed, so a retry is the same challenge, not a new roll of the dice — when you fail, you know exactly what you got wrong.
BANK EVERY LAUREL
Laurel coins line the arc of every jump. Spend them two ways. Provisions are carried into a run and burned there: the Aegis shrugs off one hit, the Ember Dash gives you three unstoppable seconds, the Laurel Draw pulls every nearby coin to you, and Second Wind puts you back on the roof once per run. Ascensions are permanent — higher hops, richer payouts, a free shield at the start of every run, a longer dash — and every rank you buy applies to every run from the next one on.
KEEP THE RECORD
Thirteen renown marks track what you have actually done, not a parallel achievement system bolted on top. The Codex of Ruins fills in as you meet each hazard for the first time. Standings keep your run totals, clear rate and personal bests. A daily boon waits for you each morning.
COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. No advertising. No analytics. No in-app purchases. No network code at all — the release build ships without even the internet permission. PixelHop works exactly the same in airplane mode as it does anywhere else, and everything it remembers stays on your phone.
Made for anyone who wants a runner they can read: sharp pixel art, a difficulty curve that climbs instead of spiking, and a single laurel wreath waiting at the summit.
Hop the ruins of a moonlit temple.
