About this app

A View From My Seat is a community driven photo sharing app for sports, concert and theatre event-goers.

The concept is simple. When you're at an event, share a photo, your comments and a rating for your seat. Next time you're thinking of getting tickets to an event, use this app to look around the venue and find great seats. Don't end up with an obstructed view. Find the best place to watch a show or game, see the mascot or simply stay cool on a hot day.

This app grows and gets better as you share your photos. This app is a simple way for us, as fans, to help each other have great experiences.

BTW, This app is ad-free, and alway will be.

This app is a great compliment to any ticket site including StubHub, SeatGeek and TicketMaster. No matter who you use to buy tickets, use A View From My Seat to know what you're getting.

The app has helped me visualize different seating options for concerts, ballgames, events over the past couple of years. It's a significant improvement over ticket sites' basic seating charts, and much better than those sites' photos (or simulations) of empty venues. Seeing a venue with actual people and concert/game lighting can't be matched. And it's also easy to be a contributing member of the community with a pretty user-friendly/easy interface and flow: when it comes to posting my own concert/game photos, I especially like the ability to take a photo, and post it later (next day, e.g.). That way, I can concentrate on the event and the people I'm with, and use my phone as little as possible the day of. All around, this is a great app/service/community!

Many Cleveland and Akron Ohio venues are missing or no one has entered a photo for it. Here is a list of some of the missing venues: Ohio Theatre, Hanna Theatre, Agora, Akron Civic Theatre, EJ Thomas Hall, Hard Rock Rocksino. Yeah. I know -- there are a lot missing. I am shocked that the owner of this app hasn't entered these. Cleveland has the second largest theater district in the country with only New York City"s Broadway theater district beating Cleveland for the largest.

Hi Micheal. Cleveland certainly has a very rich theatre scene. And we could also use some help from patrons in the area to show them off. We do have a little available from the Rocksino, Agora and Akron Civic. I checked on the others. They'll appear once anyone shares 1 photo from them. Just didn't want to show them without photo reviews. thanks

Love this app and contribute to it a lot but haven't been able to upload any photos lately. App isn't allowing me to. Not sure if there is a glitch or if this app just isn't working anymore.

Thanks for letting us know. We were having a glitch last week that was causing this. We thought this had been fixed in the newest update, 5.4.3, but we'll definitely look back into it asap. If there is anything else you could tell me that might help, please let me know here. https://aviewfrommyseat.com/contact Thanks
