About this app

Make a smaller photo copy without losing the whole picture. PixelParcel is a simple on-device tool for resizing and compressing images.

Choose a photo with Android's system photo picker, set maximum width and height, then create a copy. Keep proportions to fit the complete image without cropping or upscaling. An optional exact-dimensions setting stretches the image only when you choose it.

Photo processing takes place on your device. No account, ads, subscriptions or purchases are required. PixelParcel has no network permission, analytics or broad photo-library permission. New copies remove metadata, including location; your selected original is not overwritten.

MADE FOR PHONES AND TABLETS
A minimal Material interface adapts to the available window, with light and dark themes and a side-by-side editor on wide screens.

PLEASE NOTE
Working images are limited to 3072 pixels on the longest side and 6 megapixels; larger images are downsampled. Input files must be no more than 32 MB. A JPEG target size may not be possible at your chosen dimensions and quality range; the app reports when it cannot meet the target. PNG does not use a target file size. JPEG fills transparent areas with white. Animated images export as a still.
