A PDF editor that does the whole job on your phone.

Papr opens, reads, marks up, edits and rebuilds PDF files entirely on your own device. There is no account to create, nothing is uploaded, and every tool works with the network switched off.

READ COMFORTABLY
• Fit to width, or fit the whole page
• One page at a time, or continuous scrolling
• Swipe sideways or scroll down, whichever you prefer
• Facing pages, with or without a separate cover
• Pinch to zoom up to 20x, redrawn sharp instead of blurred
• Day and night themes, and a page colour you choose
• Crop the margins away once and it applies to every page
• Search the text, with match-case and whole-word for the exact line

MARK UP ANYTHING
• Highlight, underline, strike out or squiggle any run of text
• Draw freehand with a pen, marker or highlighter, and rub out what you don't want
• Choose your own colours and line thickness
• Leave sticky notes anywhere on a page, and read them again with a tap

EDIT WHAT IS REALLY IN THE FILE
Papr works on the objects your document is built from, instead of flattening the page into a picture and drawing on top of it. Everything you did not touch — the layout, the fonts, the spacing — stays exactly as it was.
• Tap any text, image or shape to select it
• Move, resize, rotate, duplicate, bring forward or delete it
• Edit existing text in place, keeping the document's own font
• Add new text anywhere, in any language — Arabic and Hindi included
• Crop, replace, flip, rotate or fade an image
• Change a shape's fill, its outline colour and its thickness
• Inspect any object: position, size, rotation, resolution, file type

CONTENTS AND BOOKMARKS
• Jump around using the document's own table of contents
• Rewrite that table of contents: rename entries, change their level, delete a branch
• Add a table of contents to a document that never had one
• Keep your own bookmarks separately, named however you like

ORGANISE PAGES
• Rotate, delete, duplicate, extract and reorder
• Split one document into several, every few pages or after a page you pick
• Merge several documents into one, in the order you set

FORMS AND SIGNING
• Fill in real form fields and tick checkboxes
• Sign by drawing, by typing, or with a picture of your signature
• Place your own text on documents that are only printed forms

SAVE, EXPORT AND PROTECT
• Save over the original or as a new file — Papr always asks which
• Share through the normal Android share sheet
• Export the page you are reading as a PNG, at full resolution
• Compress at three levels, with text left selectable and searchable
• Stamp a watermark on every page: diagonal, centred, tiled or in the footer
• Add a password to a copy, or remove one from a document you can already open

SEVERAL FILES AT ONCE
• Compress a batch of PDFs in one go
• Merge a stack of them into a single document without opening each one

YOUR FILES STAY YOURS
Papr has no cloud. Your documents are never uploaded, never seen by us, and never kept anywhere but your own device. There is no account, and there are no adverts.
It does send anonymous crash reports and counts of which tools get used, so faults can be found and fixed — never a file, a file name, or anything written inside one. One switch in Settings turns that off for good.
Papr reaches your documents through Android's own file picker, so it only ever sees the ones you hand it and can never go looking through your storage.
