About this app

An account with Pixels First is required. This app is not a standalone product.
Pixels Insights is thehandheld companion to the Pixels First retail software. Sign-in credentials are issued by Pixels First whenyour store or depot is set up — you cannot create an account inside the app, and the app has no functionwithout one.
Built for the people on the shop floor and in the stockroom: scan an item, see the truth, move on. Everyaction posts straight to your Pixels First back office, so on-hand figures, costs and reports stay in stepacross tills, depots and devices.
Scan and look up
Scan a barcode to see on-hand quantity, bin location, cost, sale price and supplier. Works with thecamera or a paired hardware scanner, with audio confirmation for hits, misses and errors.
Stock movements
Post stock in (returns and found stock), stock out (issues, wastage and write-offs), adjustments anddepot transfers. Each movement carries a reason and a reference, and write-offs are reported separatelyfrom consumption.
Counts and audits
Two ways to work: scan and count, where each scan adds a line and you type what you see; or build asheet filtered by category, supplier, aisle or stock status. Audits are blind by default — expected quantitiesstay hidden until sign-off — and variance is reported in units and in value. Pause an audit and pick it uplater without losing a line.
Purchase orders and goods receipt
Create a purchase order by scanning items and entering quantities, with live totals at cost and at sale.Share the order with your supplier, then receive against it line by line, editing costs and invoice details asthe delivery is checked in.
Sales and stock reporting
Sale Summary brings together gross and net sales, VAT, discounts, returns, payment breakdown andcash position for any date and time range, filtered by location, terminal or cashier. Open any transactionto see the full basket and share an 80 mm receipt. Stock reports cover valuation, movements, GRN,adjustments, transfers and count variance, each exportable as CSV or PDF.
