This was a four star game until about New Year's, 20206. I was making progress up to that point. Then they released an update and several levels I had been routinely beating up to that point became impossible. I have literally been farming coins to level up continously every waking moment for 6 weeks now and *still* cannot crack those levels. I'm done. What's the point of a game where you can only ever play the first, like, 1/3 of the levels?

This is an interesting time waster of a game, but is also fundamentally broken. The monster selection is limited, and the gameplay is simple. Like many games of its type a lot of stuff is behind paywalls, and you'll likely not progress past world 3 without some brutal, and very long dragged out grinding. My monsters are all around level 300, maxed stats for common, those evolved can, and I still can't progress if that gives you any idea of what your in for.

the gameplay was streamlined when you start playing for a good week or two. however the difficulty spiked significantly after you've clear the third stage. since then it's been a grind for me with no forward progression for a long time. everything is so tanky that you can only focus on one tower to maximize the damage output instead of spreading out the levels. To put an example. the difficulty progression was a 40 to 120 degree spike, instead of gradually 12 to 24 to 40 degree progression
