About this app
sChata is an application from PJ Software for devices running Android 6.0 and higher.
The application enables registration, reservation and accommodation in cottage-type buildings (one building / one group of guests). It is possible to work with several separate objects in the application. It can also find previous reservations and notify the guest who arrives repeatedly or find a reservation according to the specified string.
The application triggers notifications on your device (eg mobile phone) on the day of arrival or departure of guests. This notification is displayed only once on a given day, at the set time (see application settings).
The cottage allows you to monitor the costs of various events, whether directly related to the accommodation (reconstruction, investment, energy costs, etc.) or completely unrelated (family, vacation, etc.).
Overviews and evaluations of the entered data are available as additional functions. These are, for example, sales for individual objects, costs (actions) for individual objects. Further evaluations will be added as required by the practice.
Data and settings (in addition to settings, also objects and external calendars) entered into the application can be sent and subsequently retrieved using the Dropbox data storage. You can easily send the data to your computer and you can continue working with them (eg in the MS Excel spreadsheet editor). You can prevent data loss in the event of a device loss or easily transfer your data to a new device.
The possibility of so-called external calendars is added as a useful function. Here it is possible to import data from the calendars (currently ics type) of the advertising portal where you have located your presentation. The data is located outside the main accommodation data (they can only be used to obtain information), but individual records can also be easily transferred to the main data. During this transfer, it is checked whether the data does not overlap with the already entered reservation.
The application enables online communication, but does not require a permanent Internet connection on the device for its operation (eg mobile data on a mobile phone). For full use, an occasional connection via Wi-Fi (eg at home) will suffice. You download or send the data and then have it available without further internet communication.
