You can use this tool as text editor. Tap on dotted screen and type your text. Save it to your favorite format and you are done.

Another great feature is Image to PDF converter. Supported image formats are BMP, GIF, PNG, JPG, JPEG.

This free tool contains built-in CHM reader & viewer. All converted HTML files from CHM document are placed into "Extractor" directory on your SD card.

NOTE: you do NOT need an internet connection to convert documents, but if you want to send your documents by email or upload 'em to Google Drive and/or Dropbox you must enable 3G/4G or WiFi.

PERMISSIONS: you must grant write permission to allow "Text Extractor" write to SD card if your device is under Android 6.0

PalmOS: PalmDoc aka Aportis DOC converter supports uncompressed/compressed text documents and Weasel zTXT files. Proprietary iSilo format is NOT supported.

Google DRIVE: you must authorize your Google Play Services account and allow "Text Extractor" to access your Google Drive folder.

Dropbox: you must authorize your Dropbox account and allow "Text Extractor" to access it's private folder.

Ratings and reviews

This app is beyond broken, IT'S ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I've used this app before and did exactly what it said it would do. Now you can't even open any file that is known to contain text (PDF, or EPUB, etc.) Even worse when you try to open a file the app does not list any file known to contain text. It will only list image files. Even worse it only list those image files using their checksum value as their filename. What's next a photo app that will only show you text files to open?

Before you can do anything, Text Extractor App says "You must agree all permissions". These give access to your Google Drive. It then insists you must answer the question "Do you like it". If you answer 'no', the app closes. If you say 'yes', it takes you to Google Play so you can rate it. Given that at that point, I haven't even tried it or wanted to save anything, the permissions are unnecessary. The demand for rating is inappropriate and threatening. I'll be uninstalling.

It was confused. Didn't check any of the epub files then says it'll converter but of course there's a blank then it stupidly freezes.
