Your Journal, a calm, private space to write
By writing a couple of words every night, we reflect and learn. Your Journal is a simple, no-nonsense diary app built for exactly that: quick, honest entries, with nothing getting in the way.
Totally free, genuinely private
There are no accounts, no logins, and no servers. Every entry you write stays on your device — nothing is ever uploaded, tracked, or shared. Your Journal collects no data of any kind. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. It's free, permanently.
What you can do
• Write a new entry any time — a simple, distraction-free screen for putting your thoughts down
• Browse a Timeline of every past entry, newest first
• Jump to any day with the Calendar view, with a marker showing which days you wrote
• Edit or delete any past entry
• Set a daily reminder at a time you choose, so writing becomes a habit
• Lock the app with a PIN for extra privacy on a shared device
• Switch between light and dark mode, or a serif font if you prefer it while reading back old entries
• Export your entire journal as a file at any time — it's your data, take a copy whenever you like
• Import entries back in, if you're moving to a new device or restoring a backup
Why it's built this way
Most journalling apps ask you to create an account, sync to a cloud, or view ads between entries. Your Journal does none of that. It's meant to feel like a private notebook — open it, write, close it. The only place your words live is your own phone.
If you ever want a copy elsewhere, Export is right there in Settings — a plain file you control, sent wherever you choose.
