About this app
The La Folia™ Planner was created for musicians who want to take their studies seriously. Developed by teacher and professional violinist Álvaro Benfica, the app combines real classroom experience with tools designed for everyday practice.
Study Tab
Organize your practice routine with timed study sessions, including breaks between sessions to respect your pace and avoid burnout. Track the time spent on each practice and build a consistent history over the days.
Record what was worked on in each session using quick note pads, ideal for noting technical details, specific difficulties, or reminders for the next practice. For those who prefer more complete tracking, the study journal allows you to document progress, feelings, and reflections from each session, creating a personal record of your evolution as a musician over time.
Tools Tab
Metronome, high-precision tuner, and tuning fork all in one place. The tuner uses the device's microphone for real-time analysis, with entirely local processing, without audio recording or transmission.
Dictionary Tab
Consult musical terms with clear explanations and practical examples, directly in the app, without needing to resort to external sources during study or rehearsals.
Calendar Tab
A calendar designed specifically for the musician's routine. Schedule lessons, rehearsals, concerts, and shows, with configurable reminders so you never miss an important appointment.
General Features
Your data can be copied to a backup file saved directly on your device, allowing you to restore your study history, notes, and settings at any time, even without an internet connection. In addition, your study sessions can be synchronized with the calendar, combining planning and practice in a single workflow.
The main functionalities of Planner La Folia™ operate completely offline, with your data stored only on your device.
Pro Mode
Pro Mode enhances the app experience with additional study tracking features and ad-free browsing. Essential organizational and practice features remain available in the free version. Monthly and annual plans are available, with payment securely processed through Google Play.
