PlanToCode for Android is a companion for PlanToCode Desktop. Use it to follow desktop-owned coding-agent sessions from your phone and review the work before you continue.
PlanToCode Desktop stays in charge of local repositories, command execution, files, diffs, and session history. Android gives you a focused review and control surface for those sessions.
Key run context stays visible in the session: chat, run state, command output, directories, files, diffs, previews, and run evidence. When the agent mentions a directory or file, you can tap it and browse it on the spot: the content is built to be tappable, so the full context stays in the app instead of another switch back to the computer. During internal testing I found myself working from the phone for hours straight, because everything I needed was one tap away and the app stayed fast and reliable.
Use PlanToCode for Android to:
- Review workspace chat and queue follow-up instructions for a running session
- Inspect command output from the desktop-owned run
- Browse the full project tree, not just the paths the agent mentions
- Open images, PDFs, Word documents, presentations, videos, and audio (videos and audio are processed for bandwidth-efficient streaming with almost no quality loss)
- Inspect changed files and git diffs
- Dictate instructions into the composer, with your own vocabulary for specific words
- Attach project files or photos to a message
- Check reconnect, account, subscription, and notification settings
- Start optional Review Mode only when you explicitly choose to record
How to use it:
1. Install PlanToCode Desktop from https://plantocode.com/downloads.
2. Sign in on desktop and Android with the same account and region.
3. Pick a registered desktop, project, and session.
4. Review the current work and send or queue the next instruction.
Desktop coding-agent features use your OpenAI/Codex subscription for the AI service. Review generated changes and AI output before using them.
