About this app

🚗 This is a collection app where you collect the "place names" on license plates you see around town.

There are 138 different place names used on license plates throughout Japan.

When you enter a place name you see around town, that plate will be added to your collection.

Furthermore, even for the same place name, there are four different plate colors: white, green, yellow, and black.

Motorcycle license plates can also be collected in a separate collection.

Completing the collection is quite a long road...!

🔒 Place names you haven't seen yet won't be displayed.
Undiscovered slots will remain as "???".

The place name will only appear there when you actually find and register it in town.

This is a collection you fill in yourself by walking around, rather than just looking at a list and checking your answers.

🏅 The more you collect, the higher your title becomes.
Collecting all place names on white plates earns you a bronze title.

Collecting yellow items will earn you silver...
Your rank increases depending on how many you collect.
There are many goals: by prefecture, by region, and nationwide!

💡 As a bonus, you can learn a little more about the place names.
The detailed page for each registered place name includes fun facts.
When did the issuance begin? What areas does it cover?
Where did the name come from?
You can also see a map showing the areas it covers.
