You start with a toy drum machine and two pads. You finish on a stadium stage.
Boom Tak is a music tycoon about earning your way up. Every gig is played live: you tap the pads in time, the room listens, and the crowd answers. Groove and they dance. Repeat yourself and they walk out.
THE GAME ACTUALLY LISTENS
There is no tap counter. A performance analyzer reads what you played and scores it:
• Rhythm — is there a pulse, and did your hands land on it
• Originality — new ideas, fills and turns, not the same bar over and over
• Variety — every pad you own, dynamics, a little off-beat spice
• Harmony — chord changes that make sense and come home
• Layers — a loop that does not copy your hands
• Melody — a motif that returns and phrases that land
• Bass — a bass line locked with the kick
• Energy — a build and a drop where the room wants it
• Dynamics — accents on the strong beats, not on every hit
• Hooks — a sample that comes back in the same place every bar
MANY INSTRUMENTS TO EARN
Toy beat boxes and pocket drums, grooveboxes, chord pads, a loop station, keys that grow into a full keyboard, a bass box with sliding strings, a synth with a filter lever, a sampler that plays backwards — and, one day, Uncle Ray's Stage Rig. Every device puts a new control on screen and a new thing the crowd can hear.
A LONG ROAD OF VENUES
Your friend's room. The living room, where your parents pay better than your friends. A garage, a classroom, your rich aunt's salon. An underpass where people walk past and only stop if they like it. Parks, school parties, weekend fairs, a cafe that pays only for something new. School concerts, basement bars, club nights, festival stages, arenas, the stadium. Then a whole second city where nobody knows your name.
PRACTICE MODE
Tiles fall onto your pads, piano style. Tap on the line, hold the long ones. Every instrument comes with its own songs, from Boom & Tss to Ode to Joy.
A STORY, NOT A LEVEL LIST
Uncle Ray teaches you every device and tells you the truth about your set. Lo, the street beatmaker, answers your bars in the park and the crowd picks a winner. Vika the promoter pays up front, then picks your setlist. Radio 104.5 either spins your demo or explains why not.
RECORD AND GET HEARD
Build a track in the studio section by section, send it to the radio, watch your fan count change what venues pay.
