Mileage Tracker is a straightforward mileage log for anyone who drives for work. Log every trip by hand, work out your reimbursement at the rate you set, and keep a clean record ready for tax time.
There is no GPS in this app and no location permission is requested. You enter each drive yourself, which keeps the log small, accurate and entirely private.

MADE FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DRIVE
Rideshare and delivery drivers, freelancers, real estate agents, sales reps, home care nurses and volunteers all need a trip log they can trust. This one keeps a mileage log for taxes without asking for an account.
IRS MILEAGE RATE AND UK MILEAGE ALLOWANCE
In the US, the IRS standard mileage rate covers business, medical and charity driving — update the rate in settings each January when the IRS announces the new figure, and the app recalculates automatically. In the UK, the HMRC approved mileage allowance payment (AMAP) rate applies to the first 10,000 miles at 45p per mile. In France, the barème kilométrique changes each year. Because the app lets you set any rate for any category, it works for every country and every tax year without a software update.
MILEAGE LOG FOR SELF-EMPLOYED
Self-employed workers and sole traders need a contemporaneous mileage record — one that was written at the time of the drive, not reconstructed from memory at year end. This app makes the same-day entry fast enough that it actually gets done: three taps, a distance, a purpose, and it is saved. The export gives the accountant a clean spreadsheet or PDF with date, route and purpose for every deductible mile.
MILEAGE TRACKER PRO
Pro adds multiple vehicles, CSV and PDF export for your accountant, custom rates and categories, and removes ads.
A note on rates: reimbursement and deduction rates are set by your tax authority and change from year to year, so the app never hard-codes them. You enter the rate that applies to you, and the estimate follows it. The figures are an estimate to help you prepare your records, not tax advice.
No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Your trips stay on your phone.
MILEAGE FOR TAXES, WITHOUT THE SPREADSHEET
Log mileage for taxes the way a deduction claim needs it: date, vehicle, purpose, and a category among business, personal, medical and charity. The summary totals the distance and estimates the deduction at the rate you set, then exports CSV or PDF. It is your record, not tax advice — rates and rules are yours to confirm.
PRO SUBSCRIPTION
The core tools stay available without paying. Pro starts with a 7-day free trial, and ads keep showing during that trial. After it ends, the weekly subscription renews automatically and removes the ads. Cancel any time in Google Play.
If you already bought the Pro version, it stays yours for life, with no subscription.
VEHICLE MILEAGE LOG — WHAT A CONTEMPORANEOUS RECORD MEANS
Tax authorities want mileage records made at the time of each journey. A spreadsheet filled in at year-end is not contemporaneous, and an audit inspecting entry dates can tell the difference. This app timestamps every entry when you save it — a dated sequence, exactly what a contemporaneous record needs to be.
CAR MILEAGE TRACKER FOR MULTIPLE VEHICLES
If you drive more than one vehicle for work, Pro assigns each trip to a vehicle and shows totals per vehicle. Useful for accountants who split costs by asset, and for anyone who drives different vehicles for different clients.
Mileage log for self-employed: IRS deductions, trips, reimbursements. Offline.
