The game is great but unfortunately it's just a scam to get your money. When it originally came out it was fun and you could actually continue without in-app purchases. Now it's practically impossible. I made a purchase (fortunately only $1), never received my purchase and customer service had yet to respond after several days! Reading other reviews I now see that's common. What a shame.

I used to love Diner Dash. I like playing the game. But it's such a cash grab now. They want you to spend a lot of real money in the app and make it difficult to impossible to excel in the game without doing so (DON'T SPEND $$ IN APP) I downloaded the game again for nostalgic play. But now it keeps throwing a connection error and won't let me play. My internet is fine. Not sure why the error. Even though the game is fun, greed and technical bugs have made this not worth recommending.

11/25/25 update-I do enjoy playing the game but once again I need a purchase fixed and it has been 48 hours and no response. The customer service experience is horrible. I have made a few purchases in the app, and at least three times I have had to contact customer service because it just takes my money and nothing happens. And then it takes at least five days to get just. response, and sometimes longer before I get my purchase.
