Playfora is on a mission to empower people with easy and accessible ways to add charitable giving into everyday experiences. Founded in 2020, Playfora is the virtual one-stop shop for championing change through purpose-driven donations, all while having fun. The goal was to create a platform that makes it easy to collect multiple payments while allowing people to support a nonprofit they care about; thus the idea for Playfora was born.

Playfora’s unique business model is hoping to take the philanthropic world by storm; proving that donations can be democratized in a society where philanthropy has historically been reserved for the top ten percent.


The popularity of contests and other similar events are growing at an extremely fast rate, with fantasy sports alone predicted to generate $74 Billion in revenue by 2027. This push is fuelled by Gen Z and millennials who at the same time are also growing numb to sympathy-dependent fundraising tactics. Younger generations have shifted from personal donations to holding corporations accountable by purchasing from socially responsible companies, and it works, overall donation totals are up, while personal donation totals are down.

We believe that by making it easier to incorporate charity into something these generations already enjoy, not only will it help generate more personal donations, but it will also empower individuals to find ways of incorporating charity into their everyday lives—Thus allowing nonprofits to focus on their mission and less on fundraising.
