About this app

The Playnitive app is the parent control centre for the Playnitive talking plush toys: Lotti, Levi and Kobi. The plush talks with your child at the press of one button, tells stories and answers the endless "why?" questions, with no screen and no camera. In the app you decide when and how it talks.

A Playnitive plush is required to use this app.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP

• Set up in minutes: the app finds the plush over Bluetooth, you hand it your home Wi-Fi, done. As a safety step you also press the button in the plush's hand, so nobody nearby can set it up without you.
• Child profile: a name, an age and a few words about what your child loves. That is what makes the answers personal and age-appropriate.
• Behaviour: simpler conversation for younger children, answer volume, status-light brightness.
• Play-time limits: switch play off with one tap, or set a daily time window, a different one for every day of the week.
• Live status: see whether the plush is online, how full the batteries are and which firmware it runs.
• Firmware updates: install new firmware on the plush from the app.
• Stories: start a story from your phone and the plush tells it. Stories work without a subscription.
• Parent zone: see the day's play time and a topic summary of what they talked about. We deliberately never show the conversation itself.
• Several plush toys, one app: every Playnitive in the family is managed from one account.
• Four languages: the app is available in English, Hungarian, German and French, and the plush speaks the language you choose.

PRIVACY WE PROMISE

• Your child's voice travels over an encrypted connection and is processed only by services running inside the European Union.
• Raw audio is never stored: it stays in memory only while it is turned into text, then it is discarded.
• The text transcript of a conversation is kept encrypted for at most 60 days, then deleted automatically. Everything in your account can be exported and deleted from your profile.
• No camera, no screen, no voice identification, and no profiling of your child for advertising.
• The plush never manipulates, and on sensitive topics it points your child to a trusted adult.

SUBSCRIPTION

You buy the plush once. Every conversation uses paid cloud AI services, so talking works on a monthly or yearly subscription that you manage in the app. Every new plush comes with a 7-day free trial, so it can start talking straight out of the box.

PERMISSIONS

• Bluetooth: to find the plush and hand over the Wi-Fi details, during setup only. On iPhone you type the Wi-Fi network name yourself.
