I used to love this game. I have been playing for several years and am on level 13000+, so I am NOT a novice player. You are getting a 1 star review because of the Tournament of Champions that seems to always be running nowadays. You get ridiculously meager rewards (only for 1st-10th place), and you do not earn any stars towards advancing in the storyline. Also, the near impossible to complete events are no fun. The take up much too much time for very little gain. Not worth the download.

It's a fun matching game but the design part is why I downloaded it. Unfortunately, I don't even get to really decorate how I want to anymore. I'm renovating the second home now, as I'm well in the 4700 level area, and the game just makes all the design choices for me. Once in a blue I'll be able to pick the floor tile but, other than that, I don't get to choose the furniture or decor anymore. I hate their choices and want to decorate it differently!

I love Homescapes and Thank God I was able to choose the correct Game Progress to my new device. You must be very careful with this option if you have TWO VERSIONS or you will lose a great deal of progress as this happened to me in Gardenscapes.😰 I lost my Japanese Garden, Horse Stable, All areas behind the mansion, etc. Man oh man, luckily I LOVE playing so I have to Re-build now. Unless, anyone knows if somehow I can get this version back, I would SURE LIKE TO KNOW.😏 Anyway, 5 STARS🌟
