The Plowshare and the Sword
You are sixteen. You have never slept a single night outside the green bowl of land where you were born. It's the best harvest in a decade — and by nightfall, your village is ash.
From that morning forward, every choice is yours.
The Plowshare and the Sword is a story-driven medieval RPG told entirely in words — no combat grind, no timers, no pay-to-win. Just you, a candlelit world, and decisions that actually matter. Save the villagers or stand and fight. Keep your father's sword or sell it for coin you desperately need. Swear the oath at dawn — or walk out beholden to no one.
Across 15 chapters, a farm boy's road runs from a burning field to the walls of a besieged city to the crossroads of a kingdom's fate. Who you become is not chosen from a menu. It's earned, one honest — or dishonorable — choice at a time.
THE LEDGER OF THE SOUL
Your character isn't a stat sheet. It's a ledger. Every deed is written down: the mercy you showed, the line you crossed, the oath you honored or broke. Morality, cunning, prowess, and renown all shift beneath your choices — and your true disposition trails your deeds like a shadow, slowly becoming who you really are.
