Dusk Scout helps you find the perfect time to fall asleep based on natural sleep cycles.

Your body moves through 90-minute sleep cycles throughout the night. Waking up in the middle of a cycle leaves you groggy and tired — but waking up at the end of a cycle feels natural and refreshing. Dusk Scout calculates exactly when you need to fall asleep to wake up at your target time, aligned with your cycles.

Enter your desired wake-up time and instantly see three options: 4 cycles (6 hours), 5 cycles (7.5 hours), and 6 cycles (9 hours). The app highlights the sweet spot — the window closest to the recommended 7.5 hours — so you can make the best choice for any night.

Save your most-used wake times as presets. Set up a "Workday" preset for 7:00 AM and a "Weekend" preset for 9:00 AM, then switch between them with a single tap.

Track your sleep every day with the built-in sleep log. Log your actual sleep and wake times, rate your sleep quality, and add a quick note. Watch your streak grow as you build a consistent routine. After a week, Dusk Scout shows you insights — your average sleep duration, which days you rest best, and your consistency score.

Fine-tune the calculator for your body: adjust the cycle length (80 to 110 minutes) and the average time you take to fall asleep. Every person is different, and Dusk Scout adapts to you.
