About this game

Plum Mahjong is free mahjong solitaire with big, clear tiles and no ads, ever. Every board can be solved, there is nothing to buy, and you can play mahjong offline without signing up.
Clear the table in tray mode or classic pairs, try Mahjong Connect, play the daily mahjong board, or play mahjong online with friends.

Big mahjong tiles, calm table
• Boards are never more than six tiles wide, so every tile reads at a glance, even on a small phone. Easy on the eyes for every age, seniors included.
• Blocked tiles are dimmed, so free tiles stand out and you never have to guess what you can take.
• Press and hold a tile you can't take yet to peek at it. Peeking never makes a move.
• Enjoy illustrated picture tiles mixed in with the traditional mahjong tiles, or switch to traditional tiles only: the three suits, winds, dragons, Flowers and Seasons.

Every mahjong board can be solved
Each board is dealt backwards from a cleared table, so there is always a way through. Hint, Undo and Shuffle are there when you want them, and Shuffle rearranges the tiles left into a position that can still be solved. Clear a board without them for three stars.

Four mahjong games in one
• Tray mode: a relaxing tile matching puzzle. Tap a free tile and it drops into a four-slot tray. Two alike in the tray clear each other; four different tiles and the board is lost, so look a move ahead.
• Classic pairs: classic mahjong solitaire, also known as Shanghai. Tap two matching free tiles to clear them. One switch in Settings.
• Mahjong Connect, also known as Shisen-Sho: flat tiles on a grid. Join two matching tiles with a line that turns at most twice. It has its own ladder of levels, and every board can be cleared.
• Free Play: deal a mahjong solitaire board of your own, with no levels and no pressure.

A new daily mahjong board, every day
One new Daily each day, the same for everyone. Clear it to keep your quiet streak, and see where your time ranks in the world, in your country and among your friends.

Play mahjong with friends, online
• Race: the same deal on your own board. Fastest clear wins.
• Battle: one shared board, both at once. Grab pairs before the other player does.
• Duel: mahjong duels on one board, taking turns, ten seconds a move.
Play anyone online, or invite friends with a link, a room code or your friend code. After any board, send a challenge link with your time to beat. There is no free-text chat, only a few quick messages; names are filtered, and you can report a name or hide any player.

Player IQ and peaceful places
Your Player IQ is a progress score, not a test. It rises with every pair and opens new places to play, from Plum Garden to Moonlit Lake and Rain Retreat. New ideas arrive one at a time: hidden tiles, ice, locks and keys, and the traditional Flowers and Seasons. Look out for gold IQ+ tiles too: they double what their pair earns.

Fair and private
• Free to play, with no ads, no ad tracking and no in-app purchases. Coins are earned by playing and only buy hints, undos and shuffles.
• No sign-up, no email, no password. Solo games play offline, with no Wi-Fi needed.
• Online play needs no email or real name: other players see only a display name, an avatar, your country and your results. Delete your online data any time in Settings.
• Move your progress to a new phone with a transfer code.
• Anonymous usage stats help us improve the game; turn them off any time in Settings.
• Plays in 14 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
