About this app

This app lets you type in various weights of karat gold, silver, and platinum. It totals it up for you at the bottom right of the screen. You can change the percent "payout" at the bottom by changing the percentage at the bottom of the screen.

It's perfect for jewelry stores, pawn shops, and gold buyers. It's very simple and easy to use. The metal prices are refreshed automatically when you re-open the app, or there is a refresh button at the top.

Example of use:

You get in a big batch of gold jewelry that a customer wants to sell. You sort it by karat, test it, and weigh it. You can put the karat weight of each type of gold into the calculator, and the percentage you want to pay, and it will give you a total at the bottom right of the screen. Fast and easy. It's a great way to avoid teaching the newbies how to do math.
