The AJAY (Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana) Mobile Application is an official Government of India digital platform developed to support the effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development initiatives aimed at the welfare and upliftment of Scheduled Caste (SC) communities across India. The application acts as a comprehensive field-level tool to strengthen transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making under the PM-AJAY scheme.
PM-AJAY Scheme Components
PM-AJAY is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme that integrates the following three major components to address socio-economic disparities and improve infrastructure in SC-dominated areas:
• Development of SC-dominated villages as Adarsh Grams
• Provision of Grants-in-Aid (GIA) for district-level socio-economic development projects
• Construction, repair, and upgradation of hostels for Scheduled Caste students to enhance access to education
Application Overview
The PM-AJAY Mobile Application enables authorized officials to collect, verify, and manage data directly from the field in a structured and standardized manner. The application captures:
• Village-level data
• Household-level data
• Monitorable Indicator (M.I.)–based data
The mobile app is fully integrated with the centralized PM-AJAY Management Information System (MIS) web portal, ensuring:
