Hardhat Harbor is a town builder set on the working coastline of the Pacific Northwest. Timber, gravel and cement come in off the water and the rail line, and everything you put on the map gets built out of them. There is no timer pushing you and nothing to lose — you build the town you want, at the pace you want.
BUILD ON OPEN GROUND
Place anything anywhere. Houses, shops and apartments, a church, a school, a fire station and a hospital, farms and ranches out past the edge of town, a stadium, an airport. Lay roads and rail that bend and join where they meet, and run bridges across the river. Five zones unlock as the town grows, and the map is yours to fill in whatever order suits you.
EARN YOUR MATERIALS
Every building costs materials, and the materials come from work you actually do. Step inside the sawmill and cut the log on the mark. Run the crusher at the aggregate plant. Cap the bursts at the water tower before the pressure goes. Watch the kiln at the cement works. Each one is a short tap-timing game, easy to pick up and worth getting good at — the better you run it, the more comes back on the truck.
A WORKING HARBOR
Buy boats at the shipyard, one unlocking the next, and moor them along the marina. Tugs, trawlers, sailboats and cruisers, tied up where you put them.
MAKE IT YOURS
Houses come in seven wall colours, picked when you place them and repaintable any time. Coins pay for the finishes: rent from the people living in your town builds up while you are away, deliveries and finished buildings pay out, and there are more if you want them.
FIND YOUR WAY
The full-town map opens with a tap — every building labelled, colour-coded by kind, and tapping anywhere on it takes you straight there.
Hardhat Harbor is built by one person in Oregon, with no timers, no energy bars, and no need to spend anything to finish a town.
