Ratings and reviews

The core concept is solid, and it is a great way to meet other musicians, but the app itself is slow and buggy as hell. Constant freezing; crashing; transitions that fade to white and then never show the UI; hiding ststem UI until you try to interact then showing the system UI and moving every UI element when you tap; it has even crashed Android itself many times. The list of issues goes on and on, and the devs show no interest in fixing anything.

Love this app for my son so much!! He has improved tremendously because of it. Unfortunately, the reward challenges appear to allow people to abuse the system very often. During challenges, the leaderboard invidual xp acrued in one day is simply not possible. There are listeners who play recordings and block interactions by making themselves "focused". Even though you can report people, it's tough to track down everyone that is hacking the system. It's sad to see but we still love Tonic!

Every time this app finally starts acting stable a new update comes out and it's once again super buggy and borderline unusable. I've spent all day just trying to log in on three separate devices and they've all been stuck on the "Preparing your tonic" opening animation for over an hour. Great concept but this app is the most buggy thing I've ever downloaded on my phone.
