You seem to almost be beyond the concept phase. But this doesn't even compete with original pokemon. Having control stripped away for the mandatory (and slow) tutorial, immediately advertising monsters that look more like master-bation material, and having a system that can't catch on 87% but immediately states "oops you can't try again now that it failed" ... I lost interest after the first 30 second pause that took control away from me. To play a game, the gamer must be in control & PLAYING.

The differences in different assets and art is jarring.. and frankly very ugly. A lot of the overworld differences come across like they were all random asset packs cobbled together. The different artists they use for the monsters sometimes have quality differences too. There are a few that are very grainy in resolution. However, I like the combat system- it's a neat take on the 'monster battling' theme. The art is not enough to get me to stop playing, but it is very distracting.

Although it is a very good game, the data recovery system is... difficult at best. It is quite unintuitive and as someone who had previously invested a good deal of time into the game, only for all the progress to be deleted when transferring to a new phone, without a streamlined recovery is extremely frustrating. Regardless, it is an excellent game, and I generally would recommend it.
