■ POCODOG — The more you walk, the more your neighborhood becomes your territory

Games are added to your daily walks. POCODOG is a walking game app that uses GPS to convert your walking route into "My Territory" on a map. Compete with your neighbors for the number one spot in the neighborhood alongside the dog mascot, Poco.

■ Key Features

· Real-time Walking Tracking

As you walk using GPS, your route is drawn on the map. When you return to the starting point and complete a full circle, the area inside is converted into "My Territory." The Kalman filter and road data matching correct GPS errors to leave only clean areas.

· Neighborhood Ranking — Challenge for #1 Every Day

Compete with neighbors in the same neighborhood based on accumulated territory. If you become the neighborhood's #1, a golden crown is displayed on your territory on the map. Four leagues—Neighborhood, National, Friends, and Breed—are updated daily.

· Territory System

Once a territory is claimed, it remains for 7 days. If another person walks the same path, the right of possession is transferred. Even a simple walk along the same path every day is enhanced with the ‘joy of returning.’

· Run History

Automatically saves the distance, time, pace, route, and area of ​​every walk. When you wonder, ‘Where did I walk yesterday?’, you can revisit that day’s walk exactly as it happened on the map.

· Friend System

Add friends via friend code, QR code, or link to view each other’s locations and walking areas on the map. Walking together makes it more enjoyable. (Friend adding is activated only with mutual consent.)

· Walk Story

You can gather photos taken during your walk into a single log to share with friends. From dog photos and neighborhood scenery to records of the day.

· Dog Profile

Customize ‘My Poco’ by registering your name, breed, date of birth, and photos. Your level increases based on accumulated distance, and your dog’s photos are displayed on map markers and ranking avatars.

■ Safety and Privacy — Full Compliance with Location Information Protection Acts

POCODOG strictly complies with the Korean Location Information Protection Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.

· The real-time location of strangers is never displayed.

· The locations of friends and guild members are shared only if they have explicitly consented.

· Walking routes are saved after simplification, and original GPS coordinates are not stored.

· You can make yourself anonymous at any time by toggling ‘Turn off location sharing’.

· Walking records can only be viewed by the user and are not exposed to friends.

■ GPS Cheating Prevention

The server automatically detects abnormal movement speeds, teleportation, and emulator patterns. It is designed so that only those who are genuinely walking receive rewards.

■ Technology and Design

Utilizing precise road data from Naver Maps, it maps accurate areas down to the alley level. Road clipping automatically cleans up areas that protrude into buildings, and simultaneous occupancy conflicts are handled fairly on a first-come, first-served basis according to server timestamps.

■ Sign-up Guide

Available for ages 14 and up. Get started easily with a Google or Apple account. The collection of location data is essential to the service and is obtained through a separate consent process.
