About this app

Your company ships more than ever, and nobody has time to read all of it. poddub turns it into a short podcast episode: paste the release notes, the memo or the summary your agents wrote, pick one narrator or two hosts, approve the script, and the episode lands in your team's private podcast. Work doesn't need to be boring, and catching up doesn't need a desk.

How it works
Paste text into the app and pick the team it is for, one narrator or two hosts, a length of 5, 10 or 15 minutes, and a language. poddub writes the script and waits. Someone on the team reads it, edits or rewrites any line, and approves it. Nothing is spoken before that.

poddub then voices the episode, adds chapters and a transcript, and shares it with the team in the app and in any podcast app that takes a feed address, such as Pocket Casts.

Listening
- Every episode you can hear, newest first, with a filter for each team.
- Keeps playing with the screen off, with its controls in the notification and on the lock screen, and play and pause from your headphones.
- Chapters, a transcript that follows the voice, and your place remembered.
- Follow public shows, and hide what you would rather not hear.

Creating
- Make an episode from one source or several: a release, a memo, a policy, the notes your agents left.
- Two hosts or one narrator; 5, 10 or 15 minutes; English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese or Swedish.
- Edit or rewrite any line before you approve, or rewrite the whole script.
- Share it with one team or the whole organization, and take it back at any time.

Work with AI agents
Give an AI agent a key and it can add sources, make episodes and edit scripts for your team. Approving stays with people unless you choose otherwise, and every episode shows who did what.

For owners and admins
- Organizations, teams, members and roles, with invitations in the app.
- Show settings: the language, the voices, the opening line, the artwork and the colour.
- A personal link for each person to listen in their own podcast app.
- When each person's podcast app last checked for new episodes.
- A public show with its own page, so your customers can hear what you ship too, and help getting it listed in podcast apps.

Beyond work
A study group, a club, a volunteer team with a lot to share: poddub is for any group with reading nobody gets to.

AI voices
Every episode opens by saying its voices are AI-generated, and every public page says so too.

Your text is sent to AI providers to write the script and make the audio. The app asks for your consent first, names every provider, and lets you withdraw it in Settings.

Plans
Creating episodes needs a plan, bought in the app: payment is required to create episodes. An organization without one has a single seat, no generation minutes and no creation, and keeps playing what it has already published.

The plans are monthly auto-renewing subscriptions:
- Solo: 1 seat, 60 generation minutes a month
- Duo: 2 seats, 120 minutes
- Team 5: 5 seats, 300 minutes
- Team 10: 10 seats, 600 minutes
- Team 20: 20 seats, 1200 minutes

Minutes are counted when a script is approved, at the episode's target length, and given back if rendering fails for good. A subscription pays for one organization you own, and it renews until you cancel it in Google Play.
