I love this app for locking my car when I forget (it should auto lock) and for starting the climate control ahead of time. My only complaint at this point is that the charging notification is no longer an option. Please bring that back! I really like having a persistent notification to show the charging speed. PAK is very flakey, but that's not a big deal for me. I just carry a key.

The app does keep getting better and better. Kudos to the development team. It's great for setting charge level, preconditioning, and checking basic stats about the vehicle. I'll never be able to trust the digital key after getting stranded with no way home and a toddler in the back seat. This is about the only feature I'd steer away from.

This app has come a long way in the last 2 years. The main problem I have now is the very infrequent times when it logs you out of the app, which then requires me to log in before I can unlock or start my car. If you're in an area with no cell service you could be left without a way to drive your car until you manage to get Internet access and log in. This would be a major hassle, and I would probably return with a 1 star review if it happened.

What’s new

A push notification for the theft alarm is now available for Polestar 2 (software 3.2 or later) and Polestar 4. The notification is triggered approximately 15 seconds after the alarm activates.
Charge now has also been introduced for Polestar 4, making it possible to start charging immediately by temporarily pausing your schedule when the car is connected.
This version also contains several subtle enhancements and bug fixes, for a better overall experience.
