Know which app just pinged without looking at your phone.

Tine gives each app a distinct notification sound while keeping the chime you already know. Instead of making you search for replacement tones or download sound packs, Tine subtly adjusts pitch, speed and volume for the apps you choose.

Messages can sound a little deeper. Email can be slightly quicker. Calendar alerts can be softer. Each notification stays familiar, but becomes easy to recognise.

DIFFERENT IN ONE TAP

Add an app and Tine immediately suggests a sound that stands apart from your other notifications. Pick from clear presets such as higher, deeper, quicker, slower or softer. Want more control? Open fine tuning and adjust pitch, playback speed and volume yourself.

PER-APP NOTIFICATION SOUNDS

Tine changes only the apps you select. Your other apps keep their original notification behaviour. This makes it easy to separate personal messages, work email, calendar reminders and other important alerts without redesigning every sound on your phone.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Allow notification access so Tine knows which app posted an alert.
2. Choose an app and select one of the suggested sound variations.
3. Preview the result instantly and fine-tune it if needed.
4. Set that app’s original notification channel to Sound → None to prevent a double chime.

Android does not allow one app to silently change another app’s notification channel, so the final mute step must be confirmed in system settings. Tine opens the correct settings screen for you.

KEEP THE SOUND YOU LIKE

Tine is not another ringtone library. It tunes your existing system notification chime, and can also use an app’s own notification sound when Android allows access to it. There are no audio files to organise and no custom sound packs to manage.

OPTIONAL GLOBAL MODE

Prefer not to mute selected apps one by one? Tine can optionally take over the system notification chime. In this mode, apps using the default sound ring through Tine automatically: selected apps use their tuned version, while other apps keep the familiar untuned chime. You can hand control back to Android at any time.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Notification access is required only to identify which app posted an alert and when it should play. Tine does not inspect, collect or store the text of your messages. Your tuning preferences stay on your device.
