This Kitab al-Jami' application is part of the Bulughul Maram book which contains a collection of hadiths from various chapters that are not possible to be collected in a separate book name because the contents are not the same. Therefore, Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar collected these chapters in one book which he named al-Jâmi', which means "to collect" or "to collect".

Kitâb al-Jâmi 'contains 6 chapters related to morals and tazkiyatun nufus, namely:
1. Babul Adab.
2. Babul Birri wash Shilah, about doing good and friendship.
3. Babuz Zuhdi wal Wara', about the nature of zuhud and wara'.
4. Bâbut Tarhîb min Masâwi-il Akhlâq, reminded to keep away from bad morals.
5. Bâbut Targhîb min Makârimil Akhlâq, about advice or motivation to have noble character.
6. Bâbudz Dzikri wad Du'â', about dhikr and prayer.
