How it works
Book a time in the app. Show your Live Pass at the counter. Pay the restaurant for one. Pool never touches the money and takes no cut.
What to know
Each deal is yours once every 30 days. Every window holds a limited number of spots, so on a busy day you can miss it. Book early.
Restaurants set their own hours and terms, and the app shows you both before you book. Your pass carries your name and a clock that ticks, so a screenshot is worth nothing at the counter.
Friends
Add friends and see which deals they used. Never what they spent.
Who can use it
Verified UChicago students, with a uchicago.edu email. Pool is free and there is nothing to pay in the app.
Deals go live Monday, September 28, 2026, the first day of fall quarter.

What’s new
Your Pool Passport now has levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. Every deal is a stamp, a new spot adds one more, and a friend's first deal adds 4. Your level never goes down.
After you use a deal, the pass stays on one clean screen for staff. Tap the bar under it to see what you saved and your stamps.
Deals now say BOGO: buy one, get one free. Search "bogo" to see them all.
Sharing a phone? Each account now keeps its own Passport and reminders.
