About this app

Filecoo is a simple local-network file sharing tool. Start sharing on one Android device, then scan the QR code with another phone, tablet, or computer to access files through a browser.
No client installation or cloud account is required on the receiving device.

No cloud file transfer

Files are transferred directly between your devices. Filecoo does not require a cloud account and does not upload shared files to servers operated by the developer.

You control what is shared

Filecoo uses its dedicated app folder by default. You can also authorize another folder through the Android system file picker. Only folders you explicitly select are made available.

Works across devices

The receiving device does not need to install Filecoo. Any device on the same local network with a modern browser can access the shared page, including Android phones, iPhone, iPad,
Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.

How to use Filecoo

1. Choose a folder on the Android host device.
2. Tap “Start sharing.”
3. Scan the QR code with another device.
4. Upload, download, or manage files in the browser.
5. Stop sharing when you are finished.

Security notice

The current version transfers files over local-network HTTP and does not provide end-to-end encryption. Use Filecoo only on a trusted private network or a hotspot you control. Do not
transfer sensitive files over public or untrusted Wi-Fi, and stop the sharing service when finished.
