Positano is the glitziest and best known of the Amalfi coast towns, due no doubt to its superb setting. One of the characteristic features of Positano is the home architecture: white, pink, red, orange-painted buildings, almost all with a small porch in front. Steep staiways, squeezed between the houses, serve as roads. These alleys provide unbelievably beautiful views that slope down to a sea of striking beauty. In Positano there is a famous long staircase, called Scalinatella; it arrives down to the main beach (Spiaggia Grande) and other stairs are linked to it, so each stair you get down to, takes you to the beach.
This App shows you where the Scalinatella is, together, with the city centre and a public water fountain. This is not a touristic guide, but a way to get around Positano to enjoy its beauty. So turn your GPS on and enjoy!
