About this app

Postflight is private photo sharing for close friends. Every photo becomes a postcard that really travels.

Take a picture, write on the back, and hand it to a courier. A cat, a dog, a postal van, a train or a plane carries it to your friend in real time, along real streets, rails and flight paths. Your friend can see it coming, but the photo stays sealed until it lands.

FRIENDS ONLY
No feed, no followers, no likes, no strangers. Postflight is a private photo messenger for the people you actually want to hear from. Add friends with an invite link, a short code or their handle.

A CAMERA THAT FEELS LIKE A CAMERA
Shoot in black and white or sepia, flip the card and write a note, then send it with a stamp and a postmark from your city. No posing for an audience - just a real moment, sent to a real friend.

COURIERS ON THE ROAD
Every postcard has a courier, and couriers have adventures. A cat gets distracted, a van hits traffic, a dog chases something it should not. When trouble happens, you and your friend get one quick game to help it back on its way.

THE MAP
Follow your postcards on a hand-drawn city map built from real streets. Zoom out to see your country as a paper atlas, and the whole world with its departures board when a card goes abroad.

KEEP THE LAMP LIT
Send photos to friends back and forth to keep your lamp burning. It grows from a candle to an oil lamp, a lantern and one day a lighthouse.

YOUR PASSPORT AND ALBUM
Every card you send or receive is kept in your stamp album. Your passport collects marks from the places your postcards have been. Make it yours with your own stamp, colour and signature.

POST, NOT PINGS
Notifications are calm and few. Quiet hours keep the evening quiet, and an evening letter sums up the day. A slower, calmer way to stay close to your friends.

ASK PIP
Stuck? Pip the postcat runs the help desk inside the app.

POSTMASTER (OPTIONAL)
Postflight is free to use. Postmaster is an optional subscription with faster couriers - the speed car, the cheetah, the private jet and the fighter jet - plus quicker chat letters, extra skins, more films and other extras.
