The Macau "Ping An Tong" call service center under the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau was put into service on March 23, 2009. It mainly provides 24-hour emergency call services throughout the year. Users can use simple and convenient One-touch dial-a-call for immediate response and support for seniors living alone, elderly couples, chronically ill and others in need. In response to service needs, the center has added the "Outdoor Safety Communication" service since December 2018. The target is to give priority to benefiting the elderly with dementia, the mentally handicapped and those in need. The service extends from home to outdoors, adding outdoor positioning functions and outdoor assistance services , and developed a coordination search mechanism with various government departments, bus companies and groups, so that users can actively participate in society and greatly reduce the pressure on family members. In addition to emergency support, users can also inquire about the information they need in life and seek life support services. The center provides referral or direct support services according to the user's situation, such as applying for and booking rehabilitation buses, neighborhood cars, home care and support services, Home security assessment, home water and electricity maintenance and other services.
