In Poult Escape, the player isn't given just a single hero, but an entire troupe at once—fluffy, slightly clumsy, yet surprisingly synchronized chicks. And that’s where things get truly interesting: you control them all simultaneously. Not one at a time, not selectively—they all move as one unit. Made a mistake? Well... sometimes it looks almost comical as the whole flock marches in unison straight into an abyss. Or perhaps they don't—if you’ve managed to calculate your move correctly.

The levels in Poult Escape are constructed like intricate music boxes: everything seems to be right out in the open, yet the solution is never immediately obvious. In some areas, the chicks are separated by barriers, forcing you to literally "guide" each group toward its specific exit—much like solving a multi-layered puzzle. Elsewhere—quite the opposite—you must figure out how to use one group to assist another: giving them a boost, leveling the path, or holding a mechanism in place. Yes, it sounds simple. In practice? Not always.

Portals? Yes, they aren't just scenery here. Poult Escape features two types: stable ones (blue) and those with... let's just say, "personality" (red). The latter vanish immediately after use. One wrong step, and your planned route falls apart, forcing you to rethink your strategy. Sometimes—from scratch.

And just like that, you’re no longer simply playing a platformer. You are calculating, double-checking, and second-guessing yourself. You take a step back—mentally or literally.
