Power & Sun Sizing puts the hybrid solar sizing tool on your phone, so a system can be sized during the site visit instead of back at the office.
WHAT IT DOES
Work through four steps and get a complete design:
1. Sector — residential, commercial or industrial, with a quick-start scenario, site location, supply phase and grid quality.
2. Loads — build the schedule from the appliance catalogue, or enter connected load by category in kW for larger sites. Set running hours split between solar and non-solar, and mark each load essential, important or comfort.
3. Backup — choose which loads stay on during an outage and for how long, with daily outage time, solar fraction, peak sun hours and tariff.
4. System — the sized result, with every figure behind it.
WHAT YOU GET
• Inverter rating, battery capacity and PV array size, with the basis for each
• Ranked equipment combinations from your own product catalogue
• Load splits, hour-window breakdown and an hour-by-hour backup profile
• Running costs, payback and the assumptions the calculation used
• A reference number and a shareable report
THE SAME DATA AS THE WEB TOOL
Sizings are saved to your Power & Sun account and appear in the web tool immediately. The appliance catalogue, the product list and the engine settings are the ones the office maintains, so the phone and the desk always agree.
Staff accounts also reach the back office: the sizing pipeline, catalogue management, solar regions, currency rates and engine settings.
REQUIRES AN ACCOUNT
This app is for Power & Sun staff and customers. It needs a working account and an internet connection — everything comes from the server, so there is no offline mode.
Sizing output is an estimate for planning. Confirm every design against the equipment datasheets and your local wiring regulations before installation.
