About this app

The Power Quality Health Check companion simplifies the assessment of voltage harmonics and current harmonics at an electrical installation.

The Power Quality Health Check companion is a mobile application tool designed to assess the live harmonic measurements displayed by modern power quality sub metering, monitors or portable test equipment tools.

Power Quality Health Check companion is designed to help interpret the relative (%) harmonic values of an installations voltage harmonics and current harmonics in relation to limits based on limits defined in the BS:EN50160 standard and IEC61000 standards.

The assessed harmonic values are used to produce a site assessment report detailing if the voltage or current harmonics observed by the engineer are considered to be either a Pass, Advisory or Fail at the time of inspection. The application presents these results in a standardised PDF report that be emailed directly to your client to help you enable them to make a decision on whether a further more detailed power quality or harmonic survey should be conducted.

The visual indication given can also be used as a quick troubleshooting reference tool to help you build up a history of harmonic measurements for an electrical installation as part of your maintenance programme.

Use the Power Quality Health Check companion to:

- Visually assess voltage harmonic values.
Voltage THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)
Harmonics (3rd,5th,7th,9th,11th,13th,15th,17th,19th,21st,23rd,25th)

- Visually assess current harmonics values
Harmonics (3rd,5th,7th,9th,11th,13th,15th,17th,19th,21st,23rd,25th)

- Store up to 10 measurement results to produce a standardised harmonics assessment report.

- Customise the report for each electrical installation assessed with the site name, location name and inspecting engineers name.

- Preview the report before sending onto your client.

About Power Quality Expert Limited

Power Quality Expert Limited was established in 2016 to provide power quality and harmonic surveys, BS:EN50160 compliance reports and energy load profiling surveys. In the same year we partnered with Sonel S.A. to distribute and support their comprehensive range of electrical test equipment in the UK and Ireland. We also provide the fixed aM&T sub-metering power quality and energy management system solutions from Akse Electrex.

We developed Power Quality Health Check to be an online power quality analysis and reporting service. It was designed to be compatible with the majority of the power quality analyser test equipment available on the market from Sonel to others including Fluke, Kewtech, Metrel. The service is also able to analyse data from power energy loggers and disturbance monitors available from other companies such as Chauvin Arnoux and Elcomponent. Since its launched in 2018 the Power Quality Health Check report has been adopted by some of the UKs leading test equipment distributors, electrical wholesalers and hire companies to enable electrical contractors and engineers to have a standardised report produced for them from their own survey data and recorded measurements.
