About this app

POWER VOCAB is a flashcard-based app that aims to help everyday users increase their vocabulary in under 5 minutes per day.

FEATURES

• Vocabulary Packs — Explore words organized by topics, ideas, philosophies, and interests. These pack include: America's Founding, Catholicism, Continental Philosophy, Debate Terms, Greek & Roman Empires, New Testament, Old Testament, Orthodox Christianity, Political Rhetoric, and The Stoics.

• Synonym Game — A quiz style flashcard game to test the users actual grasp of the words. The user will be presented with a word and is given three possibly synonyms but only one is the correct answer. The correct answer will turn green and the incorrect answers will turn red after selected. Each iteration is 15 cards at a time.

• Full Stack Shuffle — A true-to-form flashcard stack that uses the whole selected stack. The user is given a flashcard that has the word, the pronunciation, and the definition. The user can move on the the next word by choosing the 'I Know This' button or they can send it back into the deck by hitting the 'Review Later' button. Each expansion pack will have their own separate stack. Each iteration is 15 cards at a time.

• Favorites — Users can save the words they want to master and easily return to them in their Favorites tab. User can sort through them simply by swiping the screen to see the next work in their stack.

• Word of the Day — A new word for the users to learn everyday.

• Daily Streak Counter — Users can build a streak by completing one iteration of the Synonym Game or one iteration of Full Stack Shuffle each day.

• Push Notifications — Users will receive 2 push notifications per day. One for the Word of the Day and one to remind them to keep their streak going.
