StemRay is a local multitrack audio player for musicians who already have
stems and want to practice, rehearse, or play along with their own tracks on
Android.
Open a folder with compatible files and control every track in one
synchronized session. Adjust each channel's volume, use mute or solo, and
follow playback on the waveforms.
Main features:
- Local multitrack player for your own stems
- Synchronized playback of up to 20 compatible tracks per session
- Independent volume, mute, and solo controls for each track
- Waveforms with shared progress and synchronized seeking
- A local playlist for organizing multitrack songs
- Manual navigation between playlist entries
- Playback controls in Android notifications and on the lock screen
- Adaptive layouts for phones, tablets, portrait, and landscape
- WAV, MP3, and FLAC support within the limits shown by the app
Built for stems you already own:
- StemRay does not separate music with artificial intelligence and does not
provide a music catalog. You choose folders containing already separated
audio tracks and stay in control of the material you use.
Focused practice and rehearsal:
- Turn down a track, isolate an instrument, or create the balance that fits
your practice. Shared transport keeps accepted tracks together when you play, pause, stop, or seek.
Local organization:
- Create a playlist, order your multitrack songs, and open each entry when you need it. The playlist stays on your device. StemRay requires no account and does not send your audio files to Prado Labs.
Formats and requirements:
- A session accepts 16-bit or 24-bit PCM WAV, MP3, and FLAC files, in mono or stereo, at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. Accepted tracks in one session must use the same sample rate. Incompatible files may be ignored.
StemRay is free to install and may display ads in non-critical areas of the
interface. Ad availability and personalization depend on applicable privacy
choices.
You are responsible for having permission to use the files you select.
