Muninn is a journal that helps you write a little more, without ever
reading what you write to anyone but you.
WHY MUNINN
Most "AI journaling" apps run their AI in the cloud — your private thoughts
get sent to a server somewhere to generate a response. Muninn doesn't. The
AI model runs entirely on your phone's hardware. Your words never leave
your device, not while writing, not when the AI helps you expand an entry,
not ever.
HOW IT WORKS
Write freely, like any journal. When you want to go a little deeper, tap
"Help me expand this." Muninn's on-device AI reads what you wrote, finds
one concrete detail you already mentioned, and asks a single focused
question about it — never a vague "how did that make you feel," always
something grounded in what you actually wrote.
Answer in a sentence or two, right where it's asked. Dismiss it if you'd
rather not. There's no chat, no back-and-forth, no AI "counselor" trying to
have a conversation with you. One nudge, then back to your own words.
